UKULELE STRINGERS
(In process)
Client: CMU Physical Intelligence Lab
This is a project to create a new digital game prototype and research tool, one that helps players improve their ability to play the ukulele by teaching different movements and exercises.
Use markerless tracking technology(Google's MediaPipe), to track continuous movement by both hands using a web-cam.
● Track the position of the instrument’s neck, frets, and strings
● Gather players’ hand-movement data in a form that is useful for researchers
● Be well-documented and easily customized by the research team to adjust game mechanics and data-collection parameters
● Provide a fun and engaging experience for a diverse range of players
● Be playable as a web app, so that the game is broadly accessible to anyone who has a computer webcam
